A Pre-Columbian Quimbaya Pottery figure from Colombia ca. 1000-1400 CE. Slab figure with arms on its legs, square head, slit eyes. Face flattened and rectangular, slightly upturned with slits for eyes and mouth with a prominent, bulbous nose with open nostrils which holds a gold nose ring. The grooves around ankles, wrists and shoulders may also be evidence for missing gold bands. Faint white geometric decoration on the face still visible. Choice condition!
